Please. Obama ran on leftist principles. Even CNN is now playing the clips from Obama’s campaign speeches — about how he was gonna be following the Geneva Conventions, closing Gitmo, no military-style tribunals, etc., etc. Now, it’s a different story and even CNN is suggesting that Obama may be acting too much like Bush. Again, imo, the real opposition to Obama will be from the Leftists….(and, the further to the Left, the more p/o’d..)

I don’t disagree on what he ran on. The fact that he found out what sounded good in his head, sort of bit him in the ass when he sat down in the oval office. As was just pointed out in today’s press conference, the questions a few weeks ago were why he rejected all the Bush policies, now that he’s seen the light on some, he’s too Bush like.
