Why’s that? After they got the new ownership team headed by Nolan Ryan, they have been quite outstanding.

It was during the late 1990s-mid 2000s (under the ownership of the rightwing slug Tom Hicks), where the team was literally run into the ground and was rife with scandal and mismanagement. I’m personally ecstatic that the scumbag went broke, and the Rangers got competent ownership.

Nolan Ryan is a douchebag. I was happy to see his sour-puss face in person in 2010 when the Giants walked all over them. Now, I do like Charlie Pride and spent a half hour talking to him, but he at least had a career in country music.
