That’s the sinister beauty of the RW’s strategy: let’s say they find - and run - their mythical True Conservative. He or she is badly defeated; then they’ll simply scream, “Electoral Fraud!!”.

Win-win for them.

And Romney lost because he was not “True Conservative” enough…which is true to a point, he was not RWNJ enough to motivate the base to come out in droves to support him.

But anybody that crazy will motivate a lot of otherwise moderate voters to get out and vote to ensure that they do not get in: the Aikin Effect.
