The GOP is already running a Nazi in Illinois.

Running Nazis ought to be a plain ol’ good fear motivator to get liberals out to vote, and get some moderate both-siderists off the fence.

The GOP was actually running no one in that district — which allowed a Nazi to win the GOP nomination. Parties don’t really have control of who can run in a primary, assuming they meet the qualifications which normally involves getting a certain number of signatures. It reflects on the people of the district willing to vote for him, more than the party.
