You know, the location of ground zero just seems to be random to those unfamiliar with downtown Nashville, because, while there are apartments and condos in that stretch of Second Avenue North, it’s mostly commercial tourist-trap stuff (restaurants and shops). It wasn’t close to any of the really “important” stuff (the Metro and fed courthouses are several blocks away in different directions, and the closest skyscraper to the explosion is the AT&T “Batman” building was within sight, but still a couple of blocks away), but one thing I did notice when they showed where it was: it was right in front of AT&T’s downtown central office/microwave relay station.

Could be a coincidence, but it also may not be.

If the point was hurting first responders alone it makes perfect sense.
