Now I’m gettin’ hungry.

When I was in college we had a great restaurant just off campus. It only sat 12 people, 6 at the counter and 6 along the window sill…if you were late you stood in line outside. The man who owned it appeared to be in his seventies and he only had one item on the menu…Irish White Gravy Stew, it was the best I’ve even eaten. Two sizes, large and small. If you were a regular you knew to ask for a large red-top…a large stew with a ladle of chili in the middle…always came with two slices of white bread for sopp’n.

He never sold the chili by it self…that was for red-top only.
