One of the president’s childhood friends gives a totally different description of a “choom gang.” Tom Topolindki describes it as a group of typical teens who formed their own kind of family, which is a far cry from the definition Hannity is providing to disparage the president. President Obama was honest about his drug use when he was young, so for Hannity to use it to try to smear him is low, very low.

I read those descriptions of the “Choom Gang“‘s activities, too. They sounded like the sort of things that students were also doing at my prim, tea-and-biscuits, nerdy little Seven Sisters college. Honestly, the only people who would call them wild and depraved (as I have heard from the Right) are people who never went to college, and possibly never to high school.
Oh, wait. That would explain everything.
