With that money he spends every month smoking, he could probably have afforded a policy. I’ll bet he’s a 2 pack a day guy, also. He’s also known about this condition for 1-1/2 yrs, and hasn’t worked in six mos. If that’s the case, who’s paying his mortgage and utiities, and if there is no mortgage, why can’t he just outright sell the house? I remember lots of people writing about how medical bills had wipes them out before ACA came along and they lost everything. It’s not that I don’t have some empathy, but hell’s bells, he blew everything on making himself comfortable.

This guy, living in a $300K house, isn’t telling everything, you can bet. Materially, he is way more middle class than a lot of people, including me, could ever be, even if he is an uneducated, hard-headed dumbass.

BTW, Mr. Loon, low eyesight has nothing to do with how you spell.
