With our atmosphere thickening, isn’t it desirable to be heavier?
On that topic, I saw a wingnut FB meme about Mt. Etna spewing more CO2 into our atmosphere than humans ever have. Somehow I don’t think it’s that simple; I’m sure volcanoes do have a dramatic climatic impact, but it seems more short-term. If it really dumped 10,000 times more CO2 than all of human activity, wouldn’t the climatic response be different?
