What if Hitler hadn’t declared war on the US after Pearl Harbor? Would the US have declared war on Germany and adopted the Europe First military strategy, or would we have focused on defeating Japan instead? If we had done that, I think the Soviet Union would still have defeated Germany, but without D-Day occurring almost all of Europe would’ve gone communist.

The Soviets couldn’t have defeated Germany without Lend-Lease. Full stop. The valor of their troops wouldn’t have meant much without the planes and tanks and ammo we supplied.
