What the hell does a “Christian Flag” even look like?

This is the Flag of the only extant Christian City State in the world, but I bet it wouldn’t pass muster with the gaspers:

The Christian Flag is a white field with a blue canton, within which is a red Latin Cross.

There is also a Christian Anthem for that flag, and a Christian Pledge of Allegiance.

The flag was developed in 1897, intended to represent ecumenism between Christian churches, and adopted by forerunner of the National Council of Churches in 1943.

That organisation has also adopted display criteria for the flag when it is in a church, displacing the US Flag from its position of honour as set forth in the Flag Code.

Roman Catholic churches usually do not use this flag, as they display the flag of the Holy See (but they follow the US Flag Code).
