We considered adoption, but Sarah’s point was more appropriate. Not that you can’t be a good parent in your 40s and 50s, but it’s just not for me at this point.

Of course, adoption may be the main option for me, depending on the sex of the person I end up with. That makes things so much more complicated, in a way.
