Hey Gang,
Back from my open water scuba training. If you recall yesterday evening I was feeling a bit of apprehension about it, turns out my fears were totally unwarranted.
-snip-
Only downside, I get home, putting my wetsuit in the tub to wash it off, and my phone jumps out of my pocket into the water. I get it out, it reboots a couple of times, and now it’s in a bag of rice, sim and sd cards out of it. It’s a Razr Maxx, so no battery to remove, it’s all a sealed unit.
It’s stuck in a not on / not off state, I’m really hoping that overnight in the bag of rice will save it. I really like that phone, it’s funny that off all the water I’ve been around since I’ve had it, it takes it’s trip in a bath tub.

As you well know, if the contacts & data you need is on your Sim & SD cards, you’re better off replacing the device, as its reliability and battery will have been compromised. - should it come alive again.
