Sons and Daughters In Touch (an American Gold Star Family organisation for the children of Americans lost in the Vietnam War) makes regular trips to Vietnam to meet with those from the other side of that conflict.

It’s a good thing to do. Obviously it won’t bring back the deceased parent but I do think it can help heal old wounds. I’m actually surprised we have as pleasant a relationship as we do with Vietnam. Another reason why I thought Cruz/Rubio/Mendendez were overreacting about Obama hitting the reset button on Cuba.
