You heard wrong.

The Navy is currently fitting out the Comfort and Mercy to respond to the outbreak, but there are only two hospital ships.

One thing I read the other day, also, was that said hospital ships may or may not be the optimal solutions to the current virus outbreak, as they are designed for a relatively high patient density, versus the isolation/separation/quarantine protocols which are recommended for the Coronavirus outbreak. But better, I guess, than nothing for the two lucky port towns (?) they might be deployed to….
