Wish I had an SLR. I did get a special gadget for my birthday this year, however — a Gigapan. Literally a robot that attaches to your digital camera — and allows you to take upwards of hundreds of fully zoomed in photos of any scene — and then stitch them back together into one super sized image. The results can be surreal.
