There is a small subset of Americans who have increased their knowledge of Muslims after 9/11.

There is a larger set of Americans who have learned a bunch of bullshit and misinformation about Muslims after 9/11.

There is another set who have learned accurate things about Wahabist Muslims, and then made the monumentally idiotic mistake of thinking that knowledge applies to non-Wahabist Muslims.

If I remember correctly, you’re of the latter variety.
