That makes some sense, considering that, IIRC, some Sikhs were getting abuse and threats from ignorant Americans right after 9/11, because people thought they were Muslim.

There was a local convienence store that was owned by Sikhs. They closed it down soon after 9/11 because there were just too many crazy assholes out there.

Oh, It’s pretty damn depressing when there is a story like this, “see anyone’s arrest records” ads show up in the sidebar. Our culture is sick.
