I’ve been to Redmond once. Beautiful town, if you like the Pacific Northwest. Honestly, though, not really my cup of tea.

My wife - in many ways the prototypical New Yorker - would cringe any time she had to visit the Mothership.

I still remember her coming home after her first trip out there and telling me that she couldn’t stand the drivers there - ‘They stop at yellow lights!!!’
