And what the frak. This morning the weather reports were indicating that NYC metro would be dodging a significant snow. 1-3 N/W of NYC, 3-5 in NYC, and a bit more towards Eastern Long Island and down the Jersey shore.

STORM WARNING FOR SNOW…WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TUESDAY TO
6 AM EST WEDNESDAY. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* LOCATIONS…NORTHEAST NEW JERSEY…SOUTHERN WESTCHESTER
COUNTY…AND SOUTHERN FAIRFIELD COUNTY.

* HAZARD TYPES…HEAVY SNOW.

* ACCUMULATIONS…SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 6 TO 10 INCHES.

* WINDS…NORTH 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH.

* WIND CHILLS…AS LOW AS 10 BELOW ZERO LATE TUESDAY NIGHT.

* TEMPERATURES…10 TO 19.

* VISIBILITIES…ONE QUARTER MILE OR LESS AT TIMES.

I could snark that I would implore whoever was busy praying for snow to… well.. stop! However, I enjoy the snow. It’s the shoveling/plowing/snowblowing that sucks.
