maybe im out of touch - is there an economic blight disfiguring much of the country right now?

Repeating myself, yet again - I believe the angst many Americans are experience is not due to “economic blight” but rather existential despair.

The old ways with their easy answers to life’s problem don’t fit so well anymore.

I call this “worldview collapse” as I think what we are experiencing are the pangs of becoming a post-Christian society.

Europe was forced ahead of us in this due to WWI.

We are now catching up, so to speak.
