Since the days of Lee Atwater, Republicans have been pushing forth more and more watered-down versions of their ‘evil genius’ - Atwater to Rove to dim bulbs like Conway and Priebus. They kept going back to that particular well until the water they’re pulling out now is all but undrinkable. The balance has tipped way over onto the ‘evil’ side minus the ‘genius.’
