Pence would be ineffective at best. I’d obviously rather have Pelosi but one step at a time.

Pence would probably bring back a bit of status quo ante to foreign policy, and he and McConnell would probably keep going with ultra-conservative judges. We’d also have fewer policy pronouncements by tweet, but otherwise, everything would probably be about the same from a political standpoint.
