It really makes it hard to talk with him. Wendell, I respect ya but you have to stop living in the wreckage of 2016 and look at what has changed since then. You’ve said it yourself that Trump benefited from this anti politician mindset, imo I think it was sexism but the fact is this is a new environment.

I agree that the political landscape has changed, what has not changed (and what still dampens my badly shattered optimism) is that the media landscape has not changed and has done a lot no normalize and mainstream Trumpism. That still scares me.
