What the hell is “blogmocracy?”

“Technocracy”—the notion that educated “technocrats” should run things—was a Big Idea in the early ’30s. “Meritocracy” was the same thing, more or less, in re-tread after WWII.

What is “blogmocracy” supposed to be?

It should be ‘blogocracy’ for starters. Beyond that, I would guess that some misapprehended mish mash of the concepts of ‘blog’ and ‘democracy’ is involved.
