America is ready for WW3 ever since WW2. Revolving door of the Pentagon and contractors. The B-2 is almost ready to be moth balled which is a joke when you consider the longevity of the B-52. B-2 also started around $500 million per unit and ended up bloating to about $2 billion per unit.

To be fair, a lot of that is legislatively reduced numbers of birds sharing out the fixed development cost.
