Senator Johnson’s Wisconsin constituents will no doubt be pleased when they find out what it will cost them to mail a letter or package to, say, California if the USPS is privatized. Residents of Alaska will be even more pleased. Not only that, Amazon, among others, relies on the USPS for last mile delivery. People thrown out of work, increased costs for consumers, that’s a Republican plan for you.

Not to mention that rural delivery will go by the wayside almost immediately once a private company gets the contract. Which is mainly the red states. Simply not profitable enough to justify (as a capitalist investment).
