Heh, mine will run upstairs and hide behind the bed in the guest bedroom at the first sign of thunderstorm. Then at the first really loud nearby thunderclap she comes bolting down the stairs and sits at my feet shaking like the world is about to end until it passes. I have considered doggy xanax, but thunderstorms aren’t all that common.

She hates any loud noises. I think she associates it with gunshots (which she also hates), especially since someone shot her, mangling her front leg so bad it had to amputated at the shoulder.
