I was born in late 1969, and my brother was born in early 1972. Between those two times, my mom had two miscarriages, but they didn’t happen immediately. My dad was telling me that mom hadn’t realized that the reason the doctors forced her to carry them until they completed was that abortion was still illegal during that time period.
