She detested Coughlin and Grandpa hated him even more since that bigot opposed the CIO and called for strikebreakers to break every CIO organizing drive.

Coughlin put out a paper called “Social Justice” which just oozed with hatred of Jews and he slandered FDR as Franklin Rosenfeld. He finally went too far when he embraced Hitler and said we were going to war with the wrong side.
