Carter is an idiot when it comes to Israel and Palestine. I like what the man does in regards to Habitat for Humanity and all that but comparing Israel to Apartheid South Africa was an outrageous statement and his idiocy regarding Hamas as well.

My instinct tells me to make excuses for Carter in this regard; such as he’s an old man now and he’s probably not as sharp as he used to be. But, all in all, I’m pretty sure his main objective is to just achieve peace in the middle east. He’s a man of peace, that I know. I can not, for even a second, believe that he’s an “Israeli-hater.”

But, again, I don’t know enough about it to make an informed opinion. If he fucked up with his stance on Palestine, then he fucked up. But I don’t think it should completely negate all his other achievements and good qualities.
