Recommend introducing your daughter to Grannick’s Bitter Apple. Test it on a piece of the ruined chair, if it doesn’t stain then spay it on the new one and anything else she doesn’t want to get chewed.

What I did when our dog was a puppy, and he would chew the wood furniture, I put a tiny dab of tabasco on the furniture legs, etc. He made the mistake ONCE. After that - if he smelled tabasco - he left it alone.

But this sounds better.
