Perhaps. It’s not impossible. I find it hard to refute any of what you say there… Barring 5-6 bucks a gallon, I think he will clean Romney’s electoral clock.

It can’t go that high without a huge shock to the economy which would kill demand and drop the price. disclaimer if there is massive inflation, but that’s not likely. The large stock market corrections take care of that.
