Universities are doing the same. My niece graduates HS #1 in her class Sunday. She had scholarship offers from a variety of schools with her preference being Michigan (Go Blue). When one of the other schools found out she was going to accept the Michigan offer they sweetened the pot. Not only does she get a free ride, they’re also giving her a paid internship. Female engineering students are a hot commodity.
