Ziva’s gone now. Cote de Pablo wanted out. Her replacement is a quirky blonde (Emily Wickersham) with serious IT and analytical skills — a former NSA analyst. She’s married, to an offscreen hubby, and hails from Oklahoma. Gratefully, her character does not have a put-on accent.

Scott Bakula’s lead agent and his fellow NOLA co-worker do have put-on Loo-ziana accents. I haven’t decided whether the actors’ efforts are charming or grating on my nerves.

Did Ziva get killed off or she just went home/got another job?
