Planned Parenthood Website Hacked, Conservative Sites Call It a "PR Stunt"

O/T

I have been having one hell of a fight with UBER over my car, which is a very nice 2009 Pontiac G6.

It seems autocheck (which I had never heard of before last week) claims the car was sold at auction with frame damage back in 2011. Carfax has no such claim (which is the database we saw when we bought the car).

Neither carfax nor autozone mention any accidents, but UBER is demanding I stop driving 3 weeks from now or buy another car…which they are happy to help me do through one of their “partners” of course.

I just had the car inspected for frame damage and of course, there isn’t a damned thing wrong with the car. However, for evidence I can take to court, I would have to spend 250 dollars to put the car on a rack and be scanned by a laserlock system which can detect variences below what human eyes or handheld instruments can detect.

Then, I would have to get a lawyer and go after autocheck, which will likely take a year or longer. Not likely I can get a lawyer to go on contingency.

UBER refuses to communicate on the merits of whether there ever was anything wrong. Since UBER refuses to have any person to person contact and has no listed phone numbers of any sort, you have to rely on email, most of which goes to India and the Phillipines and where the operators are also poorly paid “contracters” who use cut and paste reply methods.

Seventy five cents a fucking mile is not worth this, but I am signing onto the class action lawsuit.
