I got quite involved in the Kerry campaign. What the American people never really learned was that the men that actually served with Kerry on the Swift Boat thought very highly of him. Now I think the Kerry campaign was a little naive thinking that the GOP wouldn’t go after a decorated vet’s service but I didn’t foresee the crap like the Purple Heart bandaids.

Karl Rove was an evil fucking genius, and that was his hour of glory…that and defusing the ticking time bomb of Dubya’s Air National Guard service records with a clever disinformation campaign.
