Moving isn’t easy, but moving isn’t impossible either. All my siblings moved, some thousands of miles, for our careers.

This isn’t new, either. America was built by people who moved, not people who stayed.

Also, most of those towns were left behind about 30 years ago (See “Allentown” and “My Home Town” etc.) so we should be almost a generation past it.

I moved in my 50s and actually began a second, totally different, career—not from a small town, but from a losing situation. You do what you have to do.
