What a goddamn asshole.

I’ve had female friends who were raped. I mean, all of us have, I’m sure. Two come to mind who were violently raped. One of them struggled less, and her outcome was better. One struggled more, and the outcome was losing an eye.

So fuck that lawyer. The goddamn ‘inkwell’ is a woman, and maybe she’s not moving around because she’s terrified he’s going to continue to hurt her.

What we do to each other, I swear.

It’s a really cheap lawyer’s trick and should have been objected to and ruled out of order. Reminds me of Johnny Cochrane’s (successful) gambit with the glove.
BTW, your stated certainty that all of us have had female friends who were raped is very striking. Maybe I have lived a sheltered life, and I don’t know where you are from, but that seems kind of extreme to me.
