My life event that is seared into my mind is Hurricane Katrina.

Watching a Cultural Center of the US drown, and the Gulf Coast blasted to Rubble was insane.

More incredible was the following days as foreign nations started giving aid and dispatching rescuers to the US. That was a first for me. Probably the first for most of US too.
