AFAIK, private social clubs in the US are permitted to be much more discriminatory than businesses.

For example, someone wants to form a Breast Cancer Awareness Bridge Club sans men, i don’t think it’s a problem stateside.

well there was the guy who sued Hooters cause he got turned down for a servers job… he won IIRC. Assume nothing when lawyers are involved.
