re: #205 Islamo-Masonic Conspirator
Chinglish is always amusing or perplexing to English speakers. What bugs me is the writers don’t even attempt to check their answers, so to speak. It’s as if they don’t really care.
Case in point: I’ve seen two young women (not my students, thankfully) wearing black T-shirts with four large, white letters across the front: ACNE.
Maybe they meant ACME and typed the wrong letter, or maybe someone has a weird sense of humor, but there are probably tens of thousands of these shirts being worn around China now.
My first year here, I had to advise a student that wearing a jacket with the words “I am your whore” emblazoned over her left breast pocket was probably sending the wrong message.
