I would like to see Gov. Johnson break the 15% polling barrier so he can appear on the national debate state.

I am not a fan of the Libertarian Party’s economic and governmental positions, but Gov. Johnson despises Donald Trump just as much as the Democrats do, and he is also a good speaker.

Hillary Clinton and Gary Johnson could tag-team Donald Trump on a debate stage; if the polling is close to 15%, I would like to see Mrs. Clinton push for Mr. Johnson to be in the debate just to tag-team the fascist talking yam.

(Since my wife was once a state Libertarian party campaign treasurer in Colorado, we have had some interesting discussions, usually late at night so all our neighbours could hear our political positions at 3AM.) (::

No thanks. I have no interest in legitimizing the State’s rights racism the Libertarian Party represents. They oppose basic protections like Article 2 of the Civil Rights Act, the Voting Rights Act, and basic workplace safeguards against abuse of employees. They say racism and religious bigotry is repugnant and irrational but support the right of private businesses to discriminate on the basis of race and religion. They oppose government marriage licenses, because gays can marry now and this is their way of nominally “supporting” gay marriage while denying denying everyone the official legal benefits of marriage as a result. Libertarians want to go back to a laissez faire free market healthcare market where people with pre-existing conditions can be denied insurance.

They really are an absolutely toxic sniveling little shit Party that, regardless of how bad the GOP may be, shouldn’t be legitimized in any way.
