Happy Birthday America!

Fun Independence day facts:
1. Even though it’s a national holiday, the Founders had to work on it. (It’s on the Declaration of Independence!)
2. United States’ sovereignty wasn’t recognized until the Treaty of Paris on September 3, 1783 - so that should be a holiday too.
3. It didn’t take effect until May 12, 1784…we’re only 232 years old, not 240. We’ve been lying about our age for two centuries!
4. Jesus wrote the Constitution…that’s why he’s never mentioned in it…didn’t like talking about himself.

Just a quibble, but I think that Jesus only came up with the second amendment, which was garbled by his human interpreters from the original “every household shall have at least one firearm without restriction concerning utility or potential for mass lethality” to the one we have today with gobbledy gook about relations between the State and militias.
