OTOH, Secret Service protection for the rest of their lives. If they’re afraid to show their faces in public, there isn’t a single politician in the country who isn’t constantly in mortal danger.

And the only way our side isn’t constantly under crosshairs at that point is if we manage full de-GOPification where we track down and jail all of them before any of them can try to assassinate Dems as retaliation for Trump being taken out, whether electorally or extra-legally.

I don’t like the sound of that future and might even trade the Trumps’ permanent fear away to avoid it.

Being booed and jeered wherever they go would work well enough.
