Nice thought, but most voters aren’t well informed enough to understand the filibuster and how the GOP abuses it. If things go south, the President gets the blame. They aren’t going to have patience with the argument that sure, the Democrats have a majority, but they let the GOP have veto power.

See what happens. I’m hoping they ditch it after they pass Covid relief.
