See… just what I said yesterday. There are things in every regional accent that make me want to cringe or laugh. It doesn’t however make the speaker an idiot no matter how bad one wants to use GWB’s pronunciation of ‘nuclear’ to be proof he’s a slack jawed yokel.

My father-in-law says “crick” for creek. He’s a 1. War hero (seriously) and 2. a flipping genius.
