That’s the excuse the North is giving - that they saw the South engaging in military drills and test firings and thought the fire was heading in their direction. It’s BS, but that’s what they’re going with.

The reality is that the South’s military drills were nothing more than an excuse for the North to open fire on the South and claim that the South made ‘em do it.

It’s almost as ridiculous as the US claiming that Iraq was just about to develop nuclear weapons, and thus, we have to invade NOW.

Unfortunately, the US has less than zero credibility on this issue, and nobody else seems to give a shit.
