I think Obama was crazy for putting it out. Personally, the whole idea had me mocking the right.

Obama used his presser as an opportunity to bash the media, destroy the “carnival barkers” and try to refocus on the agenda of the economy.

I wouldn’t have done it - but it turns the media away from asking for it to why Trump whet after it so veheremently when it is “now” so obviously a lie.
