I don’t think the HUD guy, who is a veteran, should have to shut up. i kinda didn’t before I found out he was a veteran, and now I really don’t. He’s a vet, talking about POW issues. He did tours of Iraq and Afghanistan.

I agree. He’s not just speculating blindly because he hates the troops — there’s evidence that discipline in that unit had collapsed, and that his fellow soldiers didn’t like Bergdahl because he was too sympathetic to Afghans.

It’s yet another case where the right wing goes hysterical and liberals back down. I’m getting sick of this.
